Sharon Richardson, Aspen Lead Teacher   Sharon Richardson is a passionate Montessori educator with over twenty years of experience guiding both public and private Montessori programs. Sharon founded and directed Sprouts Montessori Children’s House and Montessori del Mar Charter Learning Center in Fort Bragg, CA prior to joining the River Song staff. She has worked as teacher and principal for the San Francisco Unified School District, and as toddler and primary guide at Santa Cruz Montessori School. Sharon has also spread her love for Montessori education abroad as a consultant for Batari Educare Center in Sumatra, and for the Starfish Country Home School in northern Thailand.

Amber Dean, Cedar Lead Teacher   Amber Dean is a mother to three beautiful children. She has been working within a Montessori classrooms for 10 years. She is a certified Montessori teacher. Her hobbies include photography, being outside with her kids, swimming, and walking my dog. Amber was born and raised right here in Bend. Teaching children has been her passion for many years and she loves serving the community.

Lori Eyre,   Oak Lead Teacher   Lori began working at River Song last summer as our After Care Director. Lori has a degree in Early Childhood Education and is a step 10 on the Oregon Registry and received Montessori training last summer. Lori has been a head preschool teacher for over 15 years and has over 20 years of experience working in a preschool setting with birth to 5 year olds. For 8 years Lori was a teacher advocate and home visitor for Head Start. She is happy to start this new journey at River Song and looks forward to getting to know your children and families..

Lori began working at River Song last summer as our After Care Director. Lori has a degree in Early Childhood Education and is a step 10 on the Oregon Registry and received Montessori training last summer. Lori has been a head preschool teacher for over 15 years and has over 20 years of experience working in a preschool setting with birth to 5 year olds. For 8 years Lori was a teacher advocate and home visitor for Head Start. She is happy to start this new journey at River Song and looks forward to getting to know your children and families..

 
Julie Stamper, After Care Director   Julie is our After Care Director and Assistant in Aspen. She was the owner and operator of her own childcare facility for ten years. Her hobbies include spending time outdoors, kayaking, hiking, photography, and spending time with her five grandchildren. Her passion is building a better future for society. This may be accomplished by developing a child’s self-esteem and providing the necessary tools for them to make the best possible choices now and in their future. Together, we can accomplish this goal.

Megan Rosevear, Birch Lead Teacher   Megan is from Salem/Keizer in the Willamette Valley. She has 11 years experience in the Montessori setting. In the summer of 2017 she completed her AMI Montessori Primary training. When Megan is not in the classroom she enjoys playing handbells and working backstage for community theater.
